Trick. Or. Treat.

The costume choice this year was the mighty Wolverine. The Super Hero. The X-Men. Both? I'm not sure, but man was Porter excited! We went trick-or-treating in Gammy & Bapa Robb's neighborhood again this year. It was cold, but all in all, a boo-tiful night!
That night when we got home, I was thinking that I wish i could bottle up the absolute peer JOY that a four-year-old experiences from getting just two pieces of candy from a lighted house on Halloween night. "Daddeeeee!!! I got TWO pieces of CANDEEEE!!!!"

Iron Man made a brief cameo to join forces with Wolverine...

By the end of the night.....soooo tired.

Pumpkin Parade!

We were treated to our very first "performance" at preschool today...the annual Pumpkin Parade! The kids got to march down the hallway in their costumes to the auditorium, where they took the stage & performed five songs! It was so cute. Porter did a great job & I think really enjoyed himself. That morning before we left for school, he said, "Mom, I've always wanted to be on stage."

IKEA-cream.

How do we get through an IKEA shopping trip? Promise ice cream at the end! In fact, it is now the NORM every time we go. I'm quite certain Porter thinks it's part of the check out process. Recently, I wanted to go & Blair wasn't all that keen on the idea. Porter said, "Daddy...do you know what they have at the end? Ice cream! You might want to go."

Porter...Porter...Pumpkin Picker.

We met our friends Hailey & Derek at the pumpkin patch/apple orchard today...Oh what fun we had!!!

Buzz & Woody were there:

Porter & Derek rode the bucket train...

We took the Pumpkin Express to the pumpkin patch & apple orchard...

The apple orchard...Most of the apples were on the ground though, so we didn't do a whole lot of picking.
