Fish out of water!

We had dinner at Gammy & Bapa Robb's house tonight & after dinner, Porter decided to take a dip in the hot tub. They had turned the heat way down so it was pretty much a tiny swimming pool. Boy, did he have fun!

Scooter!

Porter has been working on earning a scooter & he FINALLY did it! He really wants a skateboard, but we decided he needs to be 12 for that, so the scooter is to practice until then.

Iowa!

Porter & I decided to head down to Iowa for a few days to visit Nana & Papa. He loves going down there & it had been a while, so South we headed. Auntie Jessika made the trek down as well, so it was fun to spend some time with her too!

We can't go to Iowa without visiting the horses on campus. Porter & Papa always feed them carrots:










Since we are scheduled to break ground on our house any day now, of course we had to make a run to Home Depot to look at tile. Porter was very patient but it had been a very long day & finally he actually fell asleep in the cart. You have to be pretty tired to fall asleep in a cart:

TARGET FIELD!

Porter went to his first Twins game today with Daddy & Bapa Robb at the brand spanking new Target Field! They made it to about the 7th inning & frankly, Porter wasn't all that impressed. He didn't like the cheering & thought the hot soft pretzels had too much salt on them...Okay, so maybe we need to wait a few years for this tradition to take off.

4th of July!

We spent 4th of July this year with the Davidman Famiy & the Klug Family. It was a kid-friendly day with some swimming in the neighborhood pool, a great meal & of course, fireworks. Our. Own. Fireworks. Blair & Porter picked out the biggest box they could buy at Target & the boys put on quite a show. The kids stuck to the sparklers & no one caught on fire, so all in all...It was a great holiday.
